Revenue per call (RPC): what it means in pay per call

Revenue per call (RPC): Total payout earned divided by total calls delivered, including calls that didn't pass the buffer.

How it works in pay per call

RPC is the key efficiency metric in pay per call. A $50 payout with 40% of calls passing the buffer is an RPC of $20, before platform, number and per-minute costs.

To get true margin, subtract your traffic cost per call and your call tracking cost per call (per-minute rates × average handle time, plus number costs). Our pricing pages list each platform's published per-minute and number rates.

Example

Example: 500 calls, 210 of them billable at $50, gives $10,500 revenue and an RPC of $21. If traffic cost $14 per call and tracking cost $0.60 per call, the margin is about $6.40 per call.
